Acquisition in 2024
In 2024, Asset Reliability Inspections expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of ABEN Technical Services, a trusted Australian provider of mechanical testing, metallurgy, and non-destructive testing (NDT) services.
The acquisition expanded ARI’s presence in Victoria and added additional experienced personnel, systems and capabilities to the business.
Today, ABEN Technical Services operates as part of ARI, with team members from both businesses continuing to support inspection, testing and asset integrity services across Australia.

Founded in 2003, ABEN Technical Services established a strong reputation for technical excellence across mechanical testing, metallurgy, materials analysis, engineering inspection, and non-destructive testing services.
Industry Experience
With more than 20 years of industry experience, ABEN Technical Services supported clients across mining and resources, oil and gas, manufacturing and fabrication, infrastructure, defence, and power generation industries. The business operated across Victoria and Western Australia, with additional presence in Hong Kong and Shanghai to support inspection and technical services across local and international projects.
