As of 2022 the Australian Renewable Energy Agency has funded 663 energy projects for early-stage research or development. Combined with the Climate Change Act 2022 which targets a 43% emissions reduction by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050, the landscape for renewables in Australia is set for growth.
